Problem in launching AutoDock Tools from Ubuntu terminal

I am rhea bedi. I wanted to do PhD in bioinformatics. But I have a background of Biotechnology. I am really interested in bioinformatics. I really want to learn some concept. I want to learn scripting. if you could send some source from where I could learn scripting. If you could help me out learn some technique involved in bioinformatics.

Hi Rhea,
Since you are a beginner, you can start learning some basic languages, I would suggest C/C++. Then move to other languages such as Python, R, and Perl.
Try downloading the PDFs of programming books such as Let us C, Programming in Perl, and so on.
